About me

This is my story

Elaina Poulos is a vibrant and rising third generation Greek American singer whose passion for music began at a very young age. Born and raised in Bronxville, New York, Elaina fondly remembers singing around the house at just four years old, holding a plastic microphone while proudly wearing her mother’s high heels. From that moment on, performing became a natural part of her life.

She developed her vocal abilities through opera studies at the Concordia Conservatory and gained valuable stage experience by participating in numerous theatrical productions and musicals. A classically trained musician, Elaina also played the viola for eight years, performing with both classical ensembles and Greek orchestras.
At the age of sixteen, Elaina discovered her deep love for Greek music, a turning point that shaped her artistic journey. Since then, she has performed at Greek festivals, private events, and well known venues throughout New York State, Florida, and across the United States. Her lively stage presence and unique laiko style have captivated audiences wherever she performs. She has also had the honor of sharing the stage with celebrated Greek artists including Efi Thodi and Lefteris Pantazis.
Elaina has released three original songs in Greek. These include “I Agapi Ine Pantou,” written by Andreas Lambrou, and “Mi Mou Thimoneis” and “Tha Kano Party,” written by Yiannis Mallias and George Galanos. Along with her original music, she performs a wide laiko repertoire and has also appeared with American pop wedding bands, highlighting her versatility and ability to entertain diverse audiences.
A dynamic and engaging performer, Elaina sings fluently in English and Greek and can also include Spanish selections upon request. Her strong vocals, confidence, and natural connection with audiences help elevate every event she performs at.
Beyond her musical career, Elaina is academically accomplished. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Fordham University and will attend law school in the fall. Her dedication to both her education and her artistic pursuits reflects her ambition, discipline, and determination.
With talent, cultural pride, and undeniable stage presence, Elaina Poulos represents an exciting new generation of Greek American artists making their mark across the United States.
